Money Tip! Save more with a certificate laddering strategy.
Use a certificate laddering strategy to take advantage of higher rates without tying up all of your investment long-term.
Certificate Ladder Example
If you have $30,000 to invest, put $10,000 into a 1, 2, and 3- year certificate. As the 1-year certificate comes due, you are able to access those funds if needed, or keep the ladder going by renewing it for a 3-year certificate at a higher rate. From that point, a certificate will renew every year, giving you the option of using those funds or renewing for a 3-year term.
