Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives owned by the people who save and borrow. Because we are a not-for-profit organization we offer our members higher returns on investments, lower rates on loans and fewer service fees. "People helping people" is the philosophy credit unions were founded on. Our membership is formed by a common bond amongst a group of people. You may be eligible to become a member depending on where you live, work, worship or if someone you are related to is a member.
To join Heritage Credit Union a qualified member must open a savings account. There is a minimum deposit of $25 (one share). Your deposit represents your ownership in Heritage Credit Union making you a valued member. Credit union members enjoy many benefits:
- Credit Unions are not-for-profit organizations owned by members
