Know your account number when filing tax returns

When filling out the paperwork for your electronic tax refund, please make sure you are correctly providing the following information to the taxing authority:
· Routing Number (ABA) - 275978983
· Account Number
· Account Type (checking or savings)

Heritage CU is REQUIRED by federal regulations to return refunds with invalid information. That means, if you list the incorrect account number on your tax documents, or specify checking when your account is a savings, your refund will be sent back to the government and your return will be delayed. The information listed on your tax documents must match EXACTLY the account information Heritage has on file.
