Q What happens if I forget the command?
Text HCU COM or go to the HCU mobile webpage.

HCU doesn't charge for any mobile banking option but members will pay standard wireless charges for texting.
Q What happens if I forget the HCU (space) prefix or enter the info wrong?
You will get a message that the phone is not registered. Just re-type and send.
Q What happens if I forget the HCU prefix in a reply?
There are times when you will reply to a HCU text. For example, in selecting a suffix number or using NEXT for more info. ALL responses require the HCU prefix or they will not be recognized.
Q What happens if I don't know the account suffix?
The system will prompt you. For example, if you type HCU BAL and send you will get a text back that says "please reply with selection:
1. S00 PRIME SHARE
2. S70 TRUE BLUE
You would need to reply: HCU 2
Q What happens if I respond to the balance prompt with HCU S70 instead of HCU 2?
The system will prompt you with "account unknown
for balance request: S70". You can then retype HCU 2 or start over with HCU BAL S70.
Q Are there any phone carriers that do not support text banking?
Cricket Wireless
Q Can I register more than 1 phone?
Yes, there is no limit. If you register two accounts with the same phone you will be asked which account number you want to
use.

No, you need to send multiple requests.
Q Can I transfer in cents?
Yes, any amount. But you don't need it. Example: Amount 250 reads as $250.00. Amount 250.03 reads as $250.03
Q Is it case sensitive?
No. Both of these will work: HCU BAL S70 and hcu bal s70
Q What does the 1/2 mean in a text received?
You are reading the first in a series of two messages. The second message will read 2/2.
Q Why are messages out of order?
Depending upon your mobile provider, some messages may take longer to send.
Q Why are inquiries received as multiple text messages?
Texts are limited to 160 characters. If your message exceeds that limit, you will receive multiple messages.
Q I'm enrolled in Text Banking and have text messaging on my phone but am not getting HCU messages.
Text banking uses SMS (short messages). These may be blocked on your phone or may not be part of your carrier's package. Enable short codes with your mobile provider.
Q Can I see my cross-account transfers in mobile?
Cross-account transfers are not yet available in mobile. It may be a future enhancement.
